Event Logistics

Site Crew

You back up the field teams on setup, teardown and on-site handling at event venues. Ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, the fast pace of live productions and the variety of different sites.

Skills we're looking for

  • Strong physical condition; comfortable lifting and moving gear
  • Team-first attitude under deadline pressure
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
  • Resourceful, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Valid driver's license (asset)
KO-LAB — Crew Leader

Event Logistics

Crew Leader

You lead a team of technicians on site, from the morning briefing through final teardown. You're responsible for execution, safety, and on-site quality.

Skills we're looking for

  • Proven experience leading field crews (minimum 2 years)
  • Calm leadership; quick decision-making under pressure
  • Plan reading and coordination with venue ops
  • Strong knowledge of on-site safety norms
  • French-English bilingualism (strong asset)

Installation

Specialized Installer

You install our signage, structures, surface wraps and sets at client locations and event venues. Varied work — sometimes at height — requiring both precision and physical strength.

Skills we're looking for

  • Experience installing signage or sets (ideally 3+ years)
  • Comfortable with hand and power tools
  • Comfortable working at height (lift, scaffold; certification an asset)
  • Eye for detail and clean finishing
  • Valid driver's license

Transport & Logistics

You take to the road with our equipment — gear, structures, signage — to production sites across Québec and Ontario. You're the link between the workshop and the field.

Skills we're looking for

  • Valid driver's license, class 5 (class 3 or 1 a strong asset)
  • Truck and trailer driving experience
  • Sound cargo handling — straps, load plans, anchoring
  • Punctual and self-directed on the road
  • Comfortable assisting with load-in / load-out

Workshop

Multi-Skilled Technician

You do a bit of everything in the KO-LAB workshop — cutting, assembly, finishing, build, prototyping. A great fit for someone who likes to learn, switch tasks, and never get bored.

Skills we're looking for

  • Solid basics in wood, acrylic and light-metal work
  • Comfortable with workshop tools (saws, sanders, drills, etc.)
  • Can read simple technical drawings
  • Care and precision in execution
  • Technical curiosity and eagerness to learn

Creative Lab

3D Technician

You operate our resin and filament 3D printers, from file prep through finishing. You work side-by-side with the creative team to ship precise prototypes and short runs.

Skills we're looking for

  • Solid grasp of 3D printing principles (FDM and resin)
  • Comfortable with slicer software and STL file prep
  • 3D modeling skills an asset (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Blender)
  • Care with finishing (sanding, post-processing, paint)
  • Organized; can manage several prints in parallel
KO-LAB — Equipment Operator

Equipment Operator

You run our production equipment — laser cutter, CNC, large-format printers. You're the person who turns a file into a finished part.

Skills we're looking for

  • Machine-tool operation experience (laser, CNC, or large-format print)
  • Vector file reading and job prep
  • Material know-how; adapted settings per substrate
  • Preventive maintenance and consumables management
  • Strong workshop safety mindset
KO-LAB — Project Coordinator

Administration & Coordination

Project Coordinator

You orchestrate KO-LAB mandates — deadlines, resources, client communication. You're the contact point between the workshop crew, the field team, and the client.

Skills we're looking for

  • Project coordination experience (ideally fabrication or events)
  • Excellent communication, written and verbal
  • Organized; comfortable juggling multiple files
  • Comfortable with project tools (Excel, Trello, or equivalent)
  • French-English bilingualism
KO-LAB — Administration & Coordination

Office

Administration & Coordination

You support KO-LAB administration — billing, contract follow-up, internal communications, office logistics coordination. A pivot role that keeps the whole machine moving.

Skills we're looking for

  • Administration or coordination-support experience
  • Strong Office suite skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Confidentiality and organization
  • French-English bilingualism
  • Notions of billing or basic accounting an asset
